In the Template Library, a template may be labeled “Legacy,” as seen with the template “LEGACY - Hero Logo Message CTA Flex.” This label indicates that the template is still functional and can be used by existing elements, but that it is no longer recommended for new elements—typically because a newer, more flexible version is available.
When creating a new element, always prefer to use the most recent, non-deprecated template—even if the usage statistics for a deprecated template sometimes show that it’s still being used regularly within existing elements. Where possible, consider gradually migrating existing elements that are still based on a deprecated template to the current template, so that you ultimately only need to maintain one active template per creative concept.
