For digital signage, you use a separate element type within the Elements module, located under the “Signage” tab.
When you add a new element here, just as with a regular element, you specify an element name, element language, element set, and status, but the selection of element types is tailored to signage use: Image, HTML5, or Video.
The Video option is exclusive to signage elements and is not available for generic web or app elements, which aligns with the fact that screen content often consists of moving images rather than static banners.
Signage elements also follow a similar management process to other elements: they can be linked to campaigns and to specific screens or signage sets, and their performance metrics can be found within the signage-specific KPIs on the dashboard, such as the number of playback cycles.
When managing signage elements, it is important to take into account the resolution and orientation of the target screens so that visual content is displayed sharply and correctly framed.
