In practice, the distinction between roles translates into visible differences within the interface.
A user with the Marketer role will typically have full access to Campaigns, Elements, Display Rules, Data & Insights, Conversion Studio, and Audience Management, but no access to System Settings, User Management, or Subscription & Billing.
A Webmaster is also typically granted access to Domains, Placements, and Signage Screens, given the technical nature of these components.
Finally, an Admin has access to all modules, including more sensitive components such as the API key, IP exclusions, and the account’s billing information.
! It is recommended that an organization limit the Admin role to a small number of trusted individuals, as this role grants access to settings that impact the entire account, such as data protection, API access, and subscription changes.
