Under the “Configuration” section of Conversion Studio, you can manage two underlying building blocks of each conversion goal: Events and Sources.
Events are the individual actions that can be tracked on a website or in an app, such as filling out a contact form or completing a purchase; the overview shows the total number of available events configured within the account.
Sources group these events by origin or form type, such as “Contact Forms,” and form the basis on which a conversion goal is built.
This layered structure—from events to sources to goals—allows you to build complex conversion flows without having to configure each goal completely independently of the others: different goals can reuse the same source and the same underlying events, which promotes consistency among goals and avoids duplicate configuration work.
