The ‘IP Exclusions’ section within System Settings allows you to exclude specific IP addresses belonging to your own company from tracking, so that internal traffic – for example, from staff visiting your own website – is not included in the campaign and data collection statistics.
You can add both individual IP addresses and subnet masks using a single number, for example in the format 192.168.1.0/255, and the system supports IPv4 addresses via a dedicated input field.
Carefully configuring these exclusions is important for the reliability of your data: without excluding internal IP addresses, test visits, internal checks or regular traffic from staff can skew the figures for impressions and clicks, which in turn gives a distorted picture when analysing campaign performance in Data & Insights.
