To actually display a position on a website, the person responsible for the website’s technical aspects must place a small piece of code—the embed script—in the correct location on the page.
This script acts as the technical bridge between the position you created in Sturely and the actual location on the page where the content is supposed to appear. Once the script is correctly implemented, Sturely automatically recognizes which position it is and which active campaigns and elements are currently linked to that position.
It is important that the embed script be placed exactly at the intended location within the page’s HTML structure, in line with the zone you specified when creating the position: a script intended for the header zone must actually be placed in the page’s header; otherwise, the content will end up in an unintended location or may not appear at all.
After implementation, it is recommended to test the position by linking a campaign or test element to it and verifying that it appears correctly on the website, preferably on both desktop and mobile views.
