When multiple campaigns are active at the same time and want to use the same position, the priority level determines which campaign takes precedence when displaying content.
Priority is expressed as a number, where a higher value indicates a higher priority; the default value when creating a new campaign is 50. Campaigns with a higher priority—for example, 90—are displayed above campaigns with a lower priority in the event of an overlap.
In practice, it’s advisable to use priority thoughtfully and consistently within your organization—for example, by reserving higher values for time-sensitive or commercially important campaigns, such as a short-term promotion, and using lower or default values for ongoing, less urgent content.
! Without a clear agreement on this, you run the risk that two marketers will unknowingly set campaigns to too high a priority, accidentally overshadowing more important content.
